"Once upon a time there was a tiny shepherd.

Every morning, even before sunrise, he led his flock to pasture.

One night, however, a terrible storm arose..."

"Žil byl jeden pasáček.

Každé ráno ještě před východem slunce vodil své stádo na pastvu.

Jednoho večera se však rozpoutala strašlivá bouře..."

My dear friends, it is my great pleasure to present to you my first article, printed and published in media abroad - this is the story of the buried church "St. Dimitar" in the Pazardzhik village of Patalenica, which was translated into Czech and together with my photographs was published in the magazine "Roden glas".

The bimonthly offers its readers materials in Bulgarian and Czech languages in a circulation of 600 copies.

The magazine informs about the Bulgarian community in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria's friends among the Czech public, as well as Czech-Bulgarian cultural relations.

I express my most heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Kamelia Ilieva - editor-in-chief of the magazine "Roden glas", in whose person I found such a sunny and positive person and a true Bulgarian Radetel!
