The birth of the Savior

A baby cried in the silence!

A divine ray pierced the darkness!

Angels sang joyfully from heaven:

"The Savior was born today on Earth!"

When the time was fulfilled, God sent forth His Son, who was born of a woman, born under the law.

The Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Galatians 4:4

Children's drawing depicting the Infant Jesus Christ with the Virgin Mary and Joseph in a stable with animals

And she gave birth to her firstborn Son, wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

In the same place there were shepherds who lived in the fields and kept a night watch over their flock. And an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone upon them, and they were greatly afraid. But the angel said to them: "Do not be afraid, for, behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which will be for all people. For today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be your sign: you will find An infant swaddled and lying in a manger."

And suddenly with the angel was found a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, saying: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men, in whom is His favor."

The Holy Gospel from Luke 2:7-14

The prophecy of the prophet Isaiah, written 700 years earlier, was fulfilled:

Because a Child was born to us, a Son was given to us. And the government will be on His shoulder. And His name shall be: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

The mighty God, the Eternal Father, the Prince of Peace left his glory and majesty in the heavens and showed the greatest HUMILITY in coming into this sinful and wretched world.

Who, being in the image of God, still did not consider that he should firmly hold equality with God, but renounced everything, taking upon Himself the form of a servant and became like men.

The Apostle Paul's Epistle to the Philippians 2:6-7

He was born as a little poor baby. He took his first breath from the breath of animals in a stable. He slept his first sleep in a rough manger. I live the most humble and obedient life to God. He took upon Himself human pains and sufferings. He was tempted in all things, but sinned in nothing. He was without sin, but He took our sins upon Himself. He was rejected, hated, beaten, despised, reviled, mocked, condemned to death, and crucified.

And finding Himself in human form, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.

The Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Philippians 2:8

He died to atone for our sins and rose again, giving us His righteousness.

Who was delivered for our trespasses and raised for our justification.

The Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Romans 4:25

He ascended again into heaven, sat down at the right hand of God the Father, and intercedes before Him for us.

So after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

The Holy Gospel of Mark 16:19

That is why he can perfectly save those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Hebrews 7:25

For there is but one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who, as a timely testimony of this, gave Himself a ransom for all.

The First Epistle of the Apostle Paul to Timothy 2:5-6

Apostle John - a witness to the life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, writes:

And we have seen and testify that the Father sent His Son to be the Savior of the World.

The First Epistle of John 4:14

The apostle Paul wrote:

This saying is true and deserves full acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the chief. But I obtained mercy for this reason, that Jesus Christ might show in me, the chief sinner, all His long-suffering, as an example to those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

The First Epistle of the Apostle Paul to Timothy 1:15-16

The Apostle Peter encourages us:

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory - now and forever. Amen.

Second Peter 3:18
