Between Stryama river to the west, springing from the southern foot of Vezhen peak (2198 meters) in the Zlatishko-Tetevenska mountain of Stara Planina and flowing into the Maritsa river and the Tundzha river to the east, springing about 250 meters south of Yurushka Gramada peak (2136 meters) in the Kalofer part of Stara Planina, you'll find the beautiful Sarnena Sredna Gora.
To the north it borders the Karlovo, Kazanlak and Sliven valleys, and to the south it reaches the Thracian lowland.
In the most northwestern point of Sarnena Sredna Gora, near the picturesque village of Domlyan, you will find this charmingly beautiful dam, from which I stole today's photo moments, found out, experienced, photographed and shared with you - my exclusive audience!
My dear friends, I present to you Domlyan dam!
It is located on the northern slopes of Sarnena Sredna Gora, and behind its hills rise the snowy ridges of the Balkan.
How to get here?
For fishing enthusiasts, the dam offers extremely good conditions for recreation and tourism. In the waters of Domlyan dam can be caught: trout, silver carp, perch, catfish, carp, black barbel, maple, tench, redfish, chute.
The views around are enchanting, and silence is guaranteed!
Due to the excellent conditions in the past it was also a center for water sports, and local water skiers were also national champions.
